Digha - Talsari

Digha was described by Warren Hastings as the 'Brighton of the East'. It is a perfect holiday beach on the Bay of Bengal. There are actually two beaches, Old Digha and New Digha. Apart from these two there are other attractive places for tourists like MARC, Lord Shiva temple, Science city, Amrabati Lake and many more. Another tourist spot nearby is Talsari, derived from the two words Tala (Palm tree) and Sari (row). The palm trees surrounding the place gives such the name, Talsari, the row of palm trees. The unique receding waters with calm ambience and tropical weather all year round makes it a popular destination for tourists.

Ranchi

The place has a number of beautiful waterfalls, rock formations and hillocks. The climate is always comfortable throughout the year. Some of the attractive places near the city are as follows: hunduru fall, pancha gagh fall, dasham fall, jonha fall, birsa jaivik udyan, jaggannath temple, ranchi hill, Tagore hill, rock garden, hirni fall, ranchi lake, fun castle, nakshatra van, machhali ghar, amreshwar dham and many more.

Deoghar

Deoghar (Baidyanath Dham) is a popular health resort and a major Hindu pilgrimage center. Baidyanath Temple here, holds one of the twelve 'Shiva Jyothirlingams' and is also one of the 51 saktipeeths in India. The ‘Purans’ refer to this temple as fit place for funeral obsequies. The places to visit here can be listed as: Shrawani Mela, Nandan Pahar, Shivganga, Naulakha Mandir, Harila Jori, Satsanga Ashram, Trikut Pahar, Tapovan, Pagla Baba Ashram, Devasangha Math, Hathi Pahar or Mahadevatari, Rikhiapeeth and Lila Temple.

Ghatshila

Ghatshila is on the banks of the beautiful Subarnarekha River, in the East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand. Due to the natural beauty of Ghatshila, it has become a favorite tourist spot, especially for Bengalis from Kolkata and other places. Some of the notable places in and around Ghatshila are: Phuldongri Hill, Surda Pahar, the house of Bhibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay, Burudi Lake, Dharagiri Falls, Mosaboni Mines, Naroa Forest, and Rukkini Temple (Jadugora & Ghatsila).

Galudih

There you will get to see the wild flower burst open to life in the thorny bowers of the dark virgin forest. The chirping of birds create an amazing environment. The land has escaped the adverse effects of the modern mechanical lifestyle. Subarnarekha is the main river that flows through this region. Eminent Bengali writers, Rabindra Nath Tagore and Bibhuti Bhusan Bandyopadhyay mentioned the river in different episodes of their literary works. Another river, Satgurum flows just outside the Galudih City. The river gets such a name because it's seven streams encircle seven separate hills seven times.
