Day 01: NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport – Gangtok

Reach NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra, cab to Gangtok. Predictably any page about East Sikkim has to start off with Gangtok that’s Sikkim’s capital and undoubtedly its most glamorous buzzing city. Nestled at 1650 m above sea level. Gangtok has good nightlife, ample gaming experiences (it’s one of the few places in India where gambling is legalized).

The famous Rumtek Monastery is 24 km away from Gangtok while the Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology is quite near the Gangtok town in Deorali. The Do DrulChorten and the Rustomji Deer Park are other notable attractions. The Changu Lake is 38 km away from Gangtok while the Nathula Pass is 54 km away. Another attraction is the beautiful Fambong La Sanctuary that’s 25 km away from town. Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Day 02: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir:

After breakfast drive to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft. /39 km) for an unforgettable journey, one of the highest altitudes of Himalayan Lake. This beautiful oval shaped lake nearly 1 km long with an average depth of 50 ft is located in the east of Sikkim Himalaya. From here we will drive again 15 km to Baba Mandir. Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple sentries and guards here believe that his spirit is still alive and he is therefore treated as a living being. They all trust that Baba Harbhajan will protect them in this very difficult terrain. We can further drive to Nathula pass (12,000ft.) towards China border depending upon the accessibility of the route. We will back to Gangtok by late afternoon. Evening is free for roaming around M.G Marg, the popular Shopping area in Gangtokchange of seasons. It remains frozen during the winter season. After visiting Baba Mandir returns to the hotel. Enjoy local / Indian dinner tonight and stay at the Gangtok hotel.

Day 03: Pelling :

After a lovely breakfast, we will be heading to Pelling.

Pelling stands at a height of 2150 meters. Both the Himalayan as well as Kanchenjungha range can be viewed from here. This is the base from where adventure lovers and trekkers go on treks to remote locations. Pelling has a beautiful helipad with excellent views that’s a major attraction. Other attractions include the SangaChoeling monastery, Pemayangtse monastery, waterfall at Rimbi River and the rock garden.

You can also visit the Rani Dhunga holy rock, double-mouthed Kanchenjunga falls, Singshore Bridge (this is Asia’s second-highest suspension bridge). The land of Pelling is beautiful and green and is dotted all over with numerous natural waterfalls. 10 km before one arrives at Pelling, there is a considerably larger town known as Geyzing (or Gyalshing). This is west Sikkim’s capital and is known for the bustling Geyzing market. Incidentally, Gyalshing means the King's garden and it refers to the Royal gardens at Rabdentse Palace. If you want to shop then the Geyzing bazaar is the best option.

Day 04:

After taking breakfast at the hotel we will move further for a guided tour of Pelling – a beautiful town in the district of West Sikkim. Famous places to visit here include the local monastery, the rock garden, and waterfall nearby Rimbi, the archaic quaint Singshore Bridge, the Change Waterfalls, the Khecheopalri/ Khechuperi lake Khecheopalri Lake holy to Buddhists and ancient Pemyangtse/ PemyangshiPemayangtse Monastery. Come back to the hotel and stay in Pelling overnight.

Day 05: Darjeeling :

After breakfast get for Darjeeling to watch the spectacular Mount Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft). cab to Darjeeling in an executive vehicle. Upon arrival complete check-in formalities at your pre-booked hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Tonight, stay at hotel in Darjeeling.

Day 06: Darjeeling Sightseeing:

Get ready early morning; start driving towards the famous Tiger Hill. The Mount Kanchenjunga (28,208 ft), the hill makes you enjoy a breathtaking sunrise that you will remember for a lifetime. On way back to your hotel pay visit to Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Complete your breakfast at the hotel and then head towards the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday close), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ava Art Gallery and Japanese Temple. Stay at Darjeeling overnight.

Refresh yourself with a visit to the Tea Estate and get probably the best tea for yourself. Have a look at the lovely Himalayan peaks with a cable car ride to Rangit Valley.

Pleasant Climatic Conditions:
